Callum Macleod
SENIOR COACH

With five years of experience racing as a continental professional cyclist across both English and mainland European teams, I understand what it takes to win and perform at high levels of the sport. My career includes UCI victories and podium finishes, and I use that experience into helping athletes grow—not only as cyclists, but as well-rounded competitors.
In addition to racing, I’ve worked behind the scenes with professional continental teams, gaining valuable insights into performance strategies used by some of the most advanced teams in the world. This dual perspective—as both athlete and staff— helps me to offer a rounded approach to coaching.
I understand the physical and mental demands of elite sport, and currently balance training and racing with professional work, as I aim to return to the pro peloton post-injury. This experience has given me a deep understanding of how to maximise training efficiency and manage recovery—crucial skills for any high-performance athlete.
Backed by qualifications in Biology, Psychology, and Physical Education, along with a diploma in Sports Therapy, I have a strong foundation in both the science and psychology of sport. I strive to help each rider unlock their full potential, combining practical experience with a science-based approach to coaching and performance.
